Jared Goff Will Participate in 2023 Pro Bowl Games
The Detroit Lions now have four players who will participate in the 2023 Pro Bowl games.
It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that veteran signal-caller Jared Goff will join center Frank Ragnow, wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown and right tackle Penei Sewell in this year's Pro Bowl festivities.
The 28-year-old is replacing Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is now preparing to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

Working with offensive coordinator Ben Johnson turned out to benefit the Lions all season, as Goff produced at a high level throughout his second campaign in Motown.
He finished the season with 4,438 passing yards, 29 touchdowns and a passer rating of 99.3.
As a result of his solid play and obvious leadership, the Lions are now much more comfortable having Goff lead the offense in 2023, especially since the team has two more first-round draft picks this year.
The front office can now allocate more resources to upgrading its low-ranked defense this offseason.
Detroit general manager Brad Holmes expressed that Goff will be the team's starter in 2023.
The team will prioritize the backup spot this offseason, but Goff's play makes it all but certain the team will consider drafting a quarterback later in the draft.
"I think it's a lot easier to get worse at quarterback than to get better at quarterback in this league," Holmes told reporters. "I think what Jared (Goff) has done this year, he captained the ship of a top-three offense and I want to say he was top-10 statistically in most of the passing categories. And again, you know how we approach the draft, like, we're never going to turn down a good football player. So, if it's a football player we really love, I mean, we're going to make sure every stone is unturned, but I do think that Jared has proven (to) everybody that he is a starting quarterback for us."
