Lions 2023 Trade Deadline Rumors, Tracker

Track all of the trade rumors and news at All Lions.

The Detroit Lions have an opportunity to make a massive splash at trade deadline.

Armed with plenty of resources, general manager Brad Holmes could add a key player to Detroit's already talented roster. Viewed as the favorite in the NFC North and a contender in the NFC, the Lions could go a step farther by adding a star-caliber player.

Among the positions that Detroit is believed to be coveting on the trade market are edge rusher and cornerback.

"I'm not, I don't really think of that. I just think of, what do we have here now. Look, I'll talk to Brad, we've kind of gone back and forth," Campbell said. "But I'm not, they can do and have whatever they want, we'll figure out our stuff here. Here's what I know 100 percent, whether we do something or don't do something, I trust Brad 100 percent that it's for the betterment of this team, it's the right thing to do."

Last season, the Lions were deemed sellers after starting 1-6. They traded T.J. Hockenson to Minnesota, then proceeded to turn their season around with a strong finish. In the tight end's absence, players such as Brock Wright and Shane Zylstra stepped up.

In 2023, the Lions will likely wind up being buyers should they elect to make a move. Both the defense and offense have been among the league's best early in the season, but both units have holes created by injuries.
