Lions among Betting Favorites to Win NFC Championship in 2023

The Detroit Lions are among the betting favorites to win the NFC in 2023. 

According to many popular sportsbooks, the Lions have the fourth-best betting odds to earn their first conference championship in decades. 

Only the 49ers, Eagles and Cowboys are perceived better than Detroit heading into the 2023 season. 

Even though Dan Campbell understands momentum is not guaranteed to carry over year-to-year, the work put in during the past 24 months has gone a long way in building the excitement level of supporters and NFL pundits.

"It’s early to get into all of that, but certainly, I do think it can catapult you, if you allow it to," Campbell expressed at the end of the 2022 season. "If we just say it, and say the words, and don’t put in the work that we did last year with the growth that has taken place, then we’ll be average.

"But, I believe in the team. I believe in the chemistry, the identity of this team, and the work they put in, and so I really do believe we’re only going to grow and get better. And, as that’s happening, we’re going to add more pieces, too," Campbell continued. "But, ultimately, that’s what this was all about, was eventually get into the tournament, because once you get into the tournament, anything can happen.”
