Lions Divisional Round Date, Time Revealed
The Detroit Lions aren't leaving the friendly confines of Ford Field as they advance in the NFL Playoffs.
Thanks to an upset win by the Green Bay Packers, the Lions will host their upcoming Divisional Round game against either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, and the game will be televised on NBC.
The Buccaneers and Eagles will square off at 8:15 p.m. Monday, with the winner heading to Detroit for Sunday's game.
The Lions are coming off a historic night, having won their first playoff game since the 1991 season. After the game, coach Dan Campbell admitted he didn't feel the true magnitude of the win.
"I don't, I guess in that moment I don't think of it like that," Campbell explained. "I don't even know if I'm really gonna understand all of it until I have time to just sit back, season's truly over and look back on it. Because I guess I'm just kind of, believe me I am so thrilled, I'm excited, we got our first playoff win. And I'm happy for those coaches and those players who were all a part of it."

Campbell added that it was fulfilling to see the team celebrate the win. After a tough start to his tenure, with a 3-13-1 finish in his first year, the third-year coach has revitalized the organization and its fan base.
"To be able to do something that's greater than yourself, it takes everybody around you doing their job and doing it at a high level," Campbell said. "You've got to be able to trust them. It's special, it's different than anything. It's not the money, it's about the competition, it's about the camaraderie and to be the best of the best collectively. I know this, we were fighting for the two seed to get another home game and we got another home game. So it's awesome, and we had to earn that, and we earned it with a win today."
