Fans are confused regarding the contract extension of LB Christian Jones

NFL Network reporter Tom Pellisero reported on Saturday that the Detroit Lions and LB Christian Jones agreed on a two-year extension of his contract.

The terms of the contract have yet to be disclosed.

Fans took to Twitter and expressed frustration and confusion that Jones had been extended.

The Lions and General Manager Bob Quinn typically do not negotiate with members of the roster during the season. Instead, negotiations typically occur during the off-season.
