Quarterback Caleb Williams made quite the impression on the hosts of Pro Football Talk.

After spending a single segment talking to one of the top draft prospects, Williams was all but crowned the savior of the Chicago Bears.

PFT posted on social media Friday, "We just spent 10 minutes with Caleb Williams. Condolences to the Vikings, Lions, and Packers. This guy is the real deal, and the Bears will have their first franchise QB since Sid Luckman."

A former Heisman Trophy winner, the talented signal-caller Williams is projected to be the first quarterback selected in this year's draft.

The Bears, who possess the No. 1 overall pick, have been rumored to be moving on from Justin Fields

There were whispers that Williams did not want to play in Chicago, which was addressed during his Combine interview

“The Bears were a 7-10 team last year. That’s pretty good for a team that has the first pick," Williams said. "They got a good defense. They have good players on offense. It’s pretty exciting if you can go into a situation like that.”

Detroit won the NFC North division and is poised to have another opportunity to make a deep playoff push.

While Williams is certainly talented, crowing him as an individual that can overcome the many early obstacles he will face in his career was eye-opening.

Fans took to social media to pan the early assertion that the other teams in the division should be very concerned.

Here is a sample of the reaction online to Williams being anointed a franchise NFL quarterback
