The NFL has announced the Detroit Lions game day experience at Ford Field ranked No. 1 overall among the 32 teams in the league.

The Lions earned the second-highest grade in the history of the "Voice of the Fan" polling system.

Detroit were tops in multiple categories, including game day satisfaction, crowd energy level, feeling valued as a season-ticket member, exclusive benefits, overall year-round experience, team direction and premium parking.

"It is an incredible accomplishment by our organization to be considered the best in overall Game Day Satisfaction across the NFL and is a direct result of the dedication, hard work and talent of our staff," team president Rod Wood said in a statement. "This ranking is truly an organizational win, as it recognizes the tremendous effort of our football team on the field and our business and stadium operations staff off the field. I couldn’t be prouder and look forward to continuing to offer the excellence our fans have come to expect next season and beyond."

The 2023 season was memorable for supporters for a variety of reasons, including hosting the first home playoff game in Ford Field history.

After defeating the Rams, the team was able to host another playoff game, as supporters witnessed two home playoff victories in the same season.

Detroit's front office and coaching staff has often expressed playing in front of Lions' fans gives the team a true home-field advantage and is becoming one of the toughest places for opponents to excel due to the rabid level of support.
