Lions' Injury Report: Harris, Paschal Out against Giants
The Detroit Lions' roster has become used to adapting, due to players unexpectedly going down due to injury.
On Friday, the team participated in its last practice before heading off on the road, to attempt to win its third consecutive game.
Those not spotted at the portion of practice observed by reporters in attendance include wideouts Trinity Benson and Josh Reynolds, defensive linemen Charles Harris and Josh Paschal and safety DeShon Elliott.
Center Frank Ragnow returned to practice on Friday, after missing the two previous days of preparation for the Lions' Week 11 matchup with the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
Harris started the week participating in practice, but his groin injury prevented him from practicing Friday.
Detroit quarterback Jared Goff expressed to reporters this week how the team has adapted to the shuffling of the lineup.
"We’ve had guys step up. I think I might have mentioned it last week, but I’m kind of used to that at this point," said Goff. "We’ve had a lot of guys kind of in and out of the lineup. You kind of stop asking who’s up this week. You just kind of get used to whoever’s going to be in there. We’ll be ready and fill in, and you saw (Lions wideout) Tom Kennedy last week do a good job and making a big play there at the end. So, we have confidence in those guys, but to be honest, whatever happens, happens. I’m somewhat used to there being just kind of a shuffled deck.”
