Lions React to Ford Field Season Ticket Sellout

Lions are ready to put in the work in front of fans at Ford Field this season.

Several members of the Detroit Lions' roster were notified after practice that for the first time in Ford Field history, a waiting list for season tickets had to be created, as the team sold out completely the allotment of tickets for season members in 2023.

Here is a sample of the reaction from the Lions about playing in front of a packed, capacity home stadium in 2023.

Kerby Joseph

“Y’all come out there, man," Joseph said. "We out here. Detroit Lions, every Sunday, Thursday, Monday. We out there, man. Come watch us. We appreciate the fans,” Joseph said. “One pride, one love, can’t wait to see y’all. That means everything."

Kalif Raymond

“We always say, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done in years past. But I remember walking off the field last year, first time with a winning season. Compared to what we did in 2021, it was one of the happiest moments I had, man. It felt really cool. I’m excited."

Amon-Ra St. Brown

"From rookie year to now, the hype is definitely there," St. Brown told ESPN. "I mean, for the season tickets to be sold out for the first time -- that says a lot about what we're building here and what we're doing. But for us as a team, I feel like we got all this hype, boom season tickets, favored to win this, that and the other. But for us, we still got to go out there and play, do the work. I think that's the message that us as players want to let everyone know is nothing's going to be handed to us. It's still the NFL. There's a bunch of good teams, so we got to keep putting that work in."

Aidan Hutchinson

"It's gonna be a special year, I think. The fans believe it and the players believe it. I mean, it's such a blessing to have such a supportive city," said Hutchinson, via ESPN. "They can feel the hype. And I feel like, I feel like we're coming."
