Lions' Week 15 Rooting Guide
The Detroit Lions have the opportunity this weekend to clinch a spot in the postseason, if they are able to defeat the Denver Broncos and certain breaks fall their way.
While the 49ers are not likely to be defeated by the Cardinals, the Cowboys face a tough road contest against the Bills.
Currently, Detroit is a long shot to end up with the No. 1 overall seed in the conference.
The best course of action, if the team wants to host a home playoff game for the first time in Ford Field history, is for Dan Campbell and his young squad to quickly get back to their winning ways.
Detroit could get help from the Bengals and Buccaneers this week, as Cincinnati hosts Minnesota, while Tampa Bay travels to Lambeau Field to face Green Bay.
After a tough loss to the Bears, Detroit reportedly had a solid week of practice leading up to their primetime game against the surging Broncos.
The last time the two teams faced off, the Lions were defeated on the road, 38-10, in December of 2021.
