Lions' Week 15 Wednesday Injury Report
The entire Detroit Lions roster was present for the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media. The development was encouraging, as the Lions have dealt with several key injuries in recent weeks.
Taylor Decker, who was listed as the only non-participant in Tuesday's estimated injury report, was back in action Wednesday. Frank Ragnow, who missed Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, returned with a knee brace on.
The Lions have a tough test against Denver on Saturday. The Broncos are finding their groove, winning six of their last seven games. A key part of that success has been the performance of wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who has been a tough cover for opponents.
Sutton and the group of Jerry Jeudy, Marvin Mims and Javonte Williams give Denver a stable of talented skill players that the Lions will have to slow down on Saturday.
"You have Sutton, you have Jeudy, you have 19 (Mims) who can run. But, I have a lot of respect for this running back, like he's a tough, physical runner," said defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn. "That's gonna test our run game, first and foremost. Then, when it comes to Sutton, he's a red-zone threat. He's a guy who can go up and catch the jump ball, and we know that's one of Russell's best things he does, is throw the deep ball. Our guys are aware of that. We understand who he is as a player, but we also understand who the other guys are, too."
