LIVE BLOG: Follow Detroit Lions' Week 8 Matchup with Las Vegas Raiders

The All Lions live blog will keep you updated throughout Detroit's Week 8 game.

The Detroit Lions look to return to the win column Monday night in a showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders.

It's the first showcase for Detroit since suffering a 38-6 bludgeoning at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. In the week leading up to Monday's game, coach Dan Campbell was adamant about the blame falling on him.

The showdown with the Raiders marks Detroit's first home primetime matchup in Campbell's tenure as head coach.

"I expect it to be electric. It already has been and I can't imagine, night game, prime time, Monday night, I had forgotten Halloween is the following (day)," Campbell told WXYZ Detroit. "It'll be something special. You can already hear what's being said around the league when you start seeing these things about, alright this team's going to Detroit. They're talking about the environment, right? That's what, to me, alright, here we go. Because we've got the interest, we're winning some games, we're giving our fans something to be proud of and we've got to do that again. I know they're gonna bring it and it only helps us, it really does."

Week 8 marks Detroit's final game before its bye week. Following the idle stretch, the Lions will enter a pivotal span of games as they hope to accomplish their goals of winning the division.

"It'd be huge, and I think that's the plan here," Campbell said. "I mean, really, four weeks ago I put up the schedule and said, 'Here's where we're at. We've got four to go til the bye, if we find a way to get these four.' Look, we stumble on one, but we finish this up 3-and-1, we get some days to recover and then you make the final push. You're making the final push for the playoffs, to win the division, all those things. So I think this is critical for us."
