LIVE BLOG: Follow Detroit Lions' Home Opener against Seattle Seahawks

The All Lions live blog will keep you updated during the Lions' home opener.

After a Week 1 victory ignited the fan base, the Detroit Lions will play at home for the first time this season Sunday.

With what is expected to be a standing room only crowd, the Lions will have a raucous environment as they welcome in the team that ultimately kept them out of the playoffs last season.

Seattle's Week 4 win at Ford Field last season kept Detroit out of the playoffs based on their head-to-head tiebreaker. As a result, Dan Campbell's team has extra motivation to get back at the team that has beaten them each of the last two seasons.

The Lions will be without left tackle Taylor Decker, who is dealing with an ankle injury. During the week of practice, Campbell had prepared for Decker's absence by trying multiple lineup combinations.

Detroit safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson appears fired up to play in front of the home crowd for his first time as a Lion. During his media availability, he applauded his team's aggressiveness in the Week 1 win over Kansas City.

The safety said the fake punt revitalized what had been a sluggish start to the game, and that adrenaline that came with it made a vital difference.

"Coaches just monitor practices, we really run it," Gardner-Johnson said. "We've gotta go out there and play. Coaches say, 'Whatever you see, let us know.' I don't know what special teams saw, but shout out to (Jalen Reeves-Maybin) and coach Fipp for everything they did. They kept the game rolling forward. Like coach said, that's the adrenaline boost we needed, even on defense because we were kind of sluggish and it boosted us up. Coach trusted them, and we trusted them as players to go out and make things happen."
