Country music superstar Morgan Wallen appreciated the ovation at Ford Field.

Country music superstar Morgan Wallen appreciated the ovation he received at Ford Field during his Thursday performance. 

The Tennessee native is also a fan of the Detroit Lions third-round draft pick, as quarterback Hendon Hooker played for the Volunteers for the past two seasons prior to entering the draft. 

“I already liked Detroit cause you drafted my boy Hendon Hooker, but I like you more now,” Wallen said, via MLive

Wallen performed three songs during his encore while donning the No. 12 jersey of Detroit's backup quarterback.
