Detroit vs. Everybody: 81 Percent of NFL Experts Predict Lions to Win

Will the Lions take their record to 5-1?

The Detroit Lions are three-point favorites to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium.

Despite the Lions dealing with a significant amount of injuries, the prevailing sentiment among NFL experts is that the Lions will defeat the Buccaneers in Week 6.

According to NFL Pickwatch, 81 percent of NFL analysts are picking the Lions to improve their record on the 2023 season to 5-1 by defeating the 3-1 Buccaneers.

Dan Campbell was asked if there is a blueprint to limit the effectiveness of the Buccaneers' offense, which will likely be returning some key weapons.

"I think there’s definitely a blueprint, but that means you’ve got to get them in long situations and that’s where, I mean, I think honestly, we’ve got to be really good on. We really have to be good on first down," said Campbell. "That’s a lot of those. The first down leads to the second-and-long and then you get into the third-and-long. So, I think the base-down efficiency is where we’ve got to get some TFLs, we’ve got to get some incompletions, we’ve got to stop the run and that’ll go a long way for us, because if we do that, then now you feel like you can open up your rush plan a little bit and we can go to work. But, if you don’t, it’s going to be tough. It’s tough to get them off the field.”

The last time the Lions faced the Buccaneers, Tom Brady tossed four touchdown passes to defeat Detroit, 47-7, at Ford Field.

Detroit leads the all-time series, 31-29.
