Odds Jahmyr Gibbs Wins Offensive Rookie of the Year
Detroit Lions rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs currently has the fourth-best odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, according to many popular sportsbooks.
With the team seeking to add more explosiveness to the offense, the ex-Crimson Tide running back has the potential to hit the ground running early in his NFL career.
According to Sports Illustrated, "As you can see, running backs and wide receivers have been the most likely skill positions to win the award in the last decade (70%), and wideouts have won it in each of the last two seasons. Of course, the favorite for this 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year is Bijan Robinson, who comes in at +300 over at SI Sportsbook. That’s no surprise, as he’s been described as the most talented running back to come out of college since Barkley. He was also a first-rounder, so he checks all the boxes of recent trends."
Only Bijan Robinson, Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud are currently ahead of Detroit's No. 12 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Barry Sanders was the last Lion to take home the award back in 1989.
Current odds to win 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year
- Bijan Robinson (+300)
- Bryce Young (+400)
- C.J. Stroud (+460)
- Jahmyr Gibbs (+700)
- Anthony Richardson (+900)
