NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport has reported that his sources are indicating it is not likely Matthew Stafford will suit up against the Bears today at Soldier Field.

Matthew Stafford had previously started 136 consecutive games for the Lions.

This development, if confirmed, is a major setback for the Lions.

The team is looking to rebound after a tough loss at Oakland, and could even their record with a victory this afternoon.
