Social Media Reacts to Jared Goff Taking Offensive Line to Dinner

Frank Ragnow impressed Jared Goff recently at dinner.

It is always wise for a starting NFL quarterback to bond and be very close with his offensive line.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff recently took Detroit's offensive line to an upscale restaurant in Detroit.

Will Burchfield, who covers the team for the flagship radio station, posted on social media how impressed Detroit's starting signal-caller was with Frank Ragnow's ability to consume a large amount of shrimp cocktail.

Goff indicated, "What Frank Ragnow can do to a shrimp cocktail is absolutely incredible. I've never seen anything like it. He could enter an eating competition for shrimp cocktails. He could put down 40 or 50 of them."

Detroit's talented center missed a small portion of training camp due to the birth of a child.

Upon his return, he noted feeling fresh and ready to continue his work during camp.

"I’m a high-anxiety guy, thinking about every possible situation, worrying about every single play," Ragnow said, via the Free Press. "But now it’s just like, go out there, do your thing, confident. So getting back into it I kind of a feel like a baby giraffe with fresh legs and everything. Everything will settle down, got to get the technique worked out, the rust worked out but it’s been good."

Many supporters took to social media to compliment Goff for spending time with those tasked with protecting him and to highlight just how delicious the shrimp was at the restaurant.

Here is a sample of the reaction online to Goff's take on Ragnow's food consumption.
