Amon-Ra St. Brown Is Highest PFF-Graded Lion against Buccaneers

Reviewing PFF's grades for Detroit Lions in Week 6.

At 5-1, the Detroit Lions have the look of one of the NFL's best teams early in the season. Third-year coach Dan Campbell has the team playing at an exceptional level.

Quarterback Jared Goff has been playing at an MVP-caliber level, while a collective defensive effort has made the team among the best on both sides of the ball.

Another major reason for the Lions' success against Tampa Bay in Week 6 was the play of Amon-Ra St. Brown, who had a career-high in both receptions and yards on Sunday. The wideout also scored his third touchdown of the season in the win.

The win Sunday allowed the team to continue pursuing its best start since 2011. However, the early-season success is just the start for a team with lofty expectations.

"It means a lot. Last year, we started off 1-6, so we kind of flipped the opposite way. To start off 5-1 is huge for us, but for us, we take it one week at a time," St. Brown said postgame. "We're gonna celebrate this win, but as soon as this next week approaches, we're on to the next game, on to Baltimore. We put so much focus into each week and so much preparation, and to come out with a victory, it feels really good. But, we know we have bigger goals in front of us. We want to keep doing what we're doing, we want to get to the playoffs, we want to have home-field advantage for the playoffs. There's so many things we want to accomplish this year."
