Lions' Week 8 Wednesday Injury Report: Reeves-Maybin, Trufant Out
The Detroit Lions will be looking to build upon their Week 7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, and next up is a home matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
Detroit is now beginning their preparations to take on a Colts offense that features a veteran quarterback in Philip Rivers and a rookie running back in Jonathan Taylor.
To start the week of preparation, head coach Matt Patricia expressed the team would participate in a walk-through indoors at the teams Allen Park practice facility.
"We’re going to actually do a walk-through today as a team. We’re kind of at eight-week mark of the season, about half-way through about this time," Patricia explained Wednesday. "Trying to do a good job of taking care of everybody’s bodies today. We’ll get back at it on the practice field tomorrow, but a big mental day for us here today, and certainly Indianapolis, coming off their bye week, they’re going to be fresh and ready to go, and we’re going to have to try to match that speed and that intensity on the field.”
