Kenny Golladay Says He is Not 100 Percent Healthy
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay is working to do everything he can to play this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Speaking to Detroit media on Friday, Golladay expressed that he has not fully healed from his hamstring injury that he suffered during training camp.
"God willing. I'm gonna try everything in my power to be out there with the guys," the fourth-year receiver said.
He added, "Definitely feeling a lot better. I wouldn't say 100 percent. I really wouldn't even put a percentage on it. I just know I'm not 100 percent. Like I said, I'm going to do everything I can. Hopefully I showed enough that I could be out there."
Contract status update
Detroit's fourth-year wide receiver still does not have a signed contract extension with the team that drafted him in the third-round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
"Those guys -- I'll let the organization and my agent handle it. If these guys want me here, I'm pretty sure that they will figure out a way to keep me here."
