GREEN BAY, Wis. – With exactly three weeks until the 2024 NFL Draft, here are the Green Bay Packers picks - at least according to the latest and greatest mock drafts.

The Athletic: Alabama OT JC Latham

Bruce Feldman’s first-round mock draft is a fun one because it includes quotes from coaches about the prospects.

In this simulation, the Packers and Cowboys flip-flopped spots, with Green Bay moving from No. 25 to No. 24 to select the ginormous Latham, who started 27 games at right tackle for the Crimson Tide.

“He’s got some serious knock-back power with explosive hips and those meat hooks,” one coach said. “He knows how to finish. I think he’s a beast at right tackle.”

Unlike Oklahoma’s Tyler Guyton, who is a college right tackle with the athletic ability to flip to left tackle, Latham is a college right tackle who will play right tackle (or guard) in the NFL.

CBS Sports: Trade

In Chris Trapasso’s latest mock, the Packers moved up to No. 22 to select the “consensus top interior rusher” of the draft, Texas’ Byron Murphy II.

Murphy had five sacks and 8.5 tackles for losses in 2023. That’s good. This is great: In the draft class, Murphy ranked second in pressures (45) and first in pass-rush win rate (19.6 percent), according to PFF. He’s only 6-foot 1/2 and 297 pounds but he’s an elite athlete at the position.

Pro Football Focus: Minnesota S Tyler Nubin

This mock, which landed the record-setting Golden Gophers' ballhawk, was based on favorite picks by fans using PFF’s mock simulator. Well, sort of.

“All of the Packers' top six selections are off the board by the time they come on the clock, and while users have selected Minnesota safety Tyler Nubin a lot of the time, they prefer to get him in the second round.”

NFL Trade Rumors: Oregon C Jackson Powers-Johnson

The young Packers don’t have a lot of glaring needs, so Powers-Johnson was the case of best-player-available meeting a need. Behind the projected interior trio of Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers and Sean Rhyan, the only backup is Royce Newman.

“Powers-Johnson played center at Oregon and Josh Myers is in the final year of his rookie deal. However, even if he’s still in the Packers’ long-term plans, Powers-Johnson would likely be cross-trained in Green Bay and could compete for playing time at right guard with Sean Rhyan. (NFL.com’s) Lance Zierlein compares him to Quinn Meinerz.”

Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean went to Tampa Bay at No. 26. Five offensive tackles were taken in the Top 20.

Moving to the second round, the pick at No. 41 was Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper. At No. 58, the choice was Utah safety Cole Bishop. He’d be a strong running-mate for Xavier McKinney as a “high-volume tackler capable of covering tight ends.”

Pro Football Network: Iowa DB Cooper DeJean

Noting Green Bay’s defense-first propensity, Brian Blewis called DeJean a “great value pick” for a defense that ranked 23rd in EPA per play under Joe Barry last season.

“With the additions of DeJean and Xavier McKinney, the Packers could turn a significant weakness into an area of strength next season as they look to take the next step into Super Bowl contention.,” he said.

Pro Football Network: Clemson CB Nate Wiggins

Tony Catalina also went defense, in general, and defensive back, in particular, with Wiggins, the fastest cornerback at the Scouting Combine.

Sporting News: Iowa DB Cooper DeJean

In Tyler Forness’ mock, eight offensive linemen were off the board before Green Bay was on the clock.

“The Packers have their thresholds which can make things more difficult for them at this spot,” Forness wrote. “DeJean fits that profile for the Packers and he can bolster their secondary on the outside, in the slot or at safety.”

Atlanta Falcons: Iowa DB Cooper DeJean

Will DeJean go earlier or later? Is he a corner or a safety? Said Falcons team writer Tori McElhaney: “What's not difficult to predict is the Packers need for bodies in the secondary. Making this a pick that makes sense.”

ESPN.com (Field Yates): Oklahoma OT Tyler Guyton

Field Yates’ two-round mock draft for ESPN.com hit on three prospects that we’ve mocked frequently to the Packers.
