GREEN BAY, Wis. – The 2023 NFL season ended with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LXIII on Sunday. Now, it’s time to officially turn the page to 2024 and the chase for Super Bowl LIX.

Sportsbooks have posted their odds for next year’s Super Bowl, and it confirms the Green Bay Packers have returned to their usual place among the NFL’s championship favorites. In fact, the Packers, who authored a quick rebound following last year’s trade of Aaron Rodgers, are among the way-too-early favorites.

That’s led at BetOnline.ag, where the Packers opened at +1600. That’s tied for the sixth-shortest odds.

The two-time reigning Super Bowl-champion Chiefs lead the way at +500. They’re followed by the 49ers are +600, the Detroit Lions at +700, the Baltimore Ravens at +1200, the Buffalo Bills at +1400, the Packers and Cincinnati Bengals at +1600 and the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins at +1800.

Here’s a rundown from several sportsbooks:

+1600 at BetOnline (sixth-shortest odds).

+2000 at SI Sportsbook (ninth-shortest odds).

+2000 at DraftKings (eight-shortest odds).

+2500 at FanDuel Sportsbook (10th-shortest odds and already better than the opening odds).

+2500 at BetMGM (10th-shortest odds).

In Year 1 under Jordan Love, the Packers went 9-8 and won a playoff game with the youngest roster in the NFL. That was better than 8-9 and missing the playoffs in 2022 with Rodgers leading a veteran roster.

“I don’t know if I’d use the term ahead of schedule,” general manager Brian Gutekunst said on Feb. 1. “Sometimes when you put too many expectations on guys, it kind of can limit your abilities. It can keep your mindset from where you can go. It can limit you, so to speak. So, I went into this year with not a ton of expectations. This is the Green Bay Packers, so we expect to compete for championships at all times, but I wanted to see how fast and how quickly this team could get up to speed and competing at a high level.”

The answer is quick. The Packers beat the Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season and held a lead deep into the fourth quarter against the NFC-champion San Francisco 49ers in a divisional-round playoff game.

Looking ahead, here are the Super Bowl odds from FanDuel for all of Green Bay’s 2024 opponents.
