It’s a good thing the Green Bay Packers don’t play the Oakland Raiders until Sunday. Otherwise, quarterback Aaron Rodgers might have to throw passes to himself.

The Packers’ did-not-participate list on Wednesday was a doozy. Rodgers’ four favorite targets in the passing game, receivers Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison and tight end Jimmy Graham, would not have practiced. Starting safety Darnell Savage, who missed the game against the Lions, also wouldn’t have practiced.

Coming off a Monday night game, coach Matt LaFleur opted for a walk-through rather than a full practice.

Rodgers was limited participation, just like last week, due to a knee injury. The knee didn’t appear to hinder him at all on Monday night, when he led the Packers to a come-from-behind victory despite the absence of Adams and Allison. Tight end Robert Tonyan, who did not play on Monday, was listed as limited participation.

In the video associated with the story, Rodgers called this the toughest part of the schedule and also hit on rookie tight end Jace Sternberger, who was designated to return from injured reserve.

For Oakland, right tackle Trent Brown did not practice. The health of his calf might be the least of his problems.
