GREEN BAY, Wis. – Here are the Green Bay Packers’ unofficial depth charts, based on how we’ve seen the players line up through the first three days of training camp.

This is a challenging endeavor because so many players play multiple positions. Rookie receiver Jayden Reed has played “primarily” in the slot, to use his word, but Packers receivers are expected to play every spot.

Offensive linemen, of course, must be multitaskers. What’s posted below is a simplification but we did find it important to note Yosh Nijman and Royce Newman, in particular, are playing on both sides. Because Zach Tom appears to be running just ahead of Nijman at right tackle, we did not list him as the No. 2 center (or the No. 2 at every position, for that matter).

For now, it doesn't matter.

“First of all, there’s nothing set in stone,” coach Matt LaFleur said on Saturday. “We’ve had two real practices, no pads, so we’re going to be moving guys all over the place. And just because somebody’s running with the 1s doesn’t mean that’s necessarily the case and vice-versa when you’re running with the 2s.

“I don’t want these guys to even think about the depth chart at this point. The sole focus each and every time we go out there is to try and get better each and every day in everything they do. And in order to do that, you’ve got to give max effort, you’ve got to be deliberate about what you’re doing. You’ve got to know the ins and outs, the details, the why behind everything we’re asking these guys to do.”

The Packers did not publish an unofficial depth chart as part of their Dope Sheet preview. The team site says it will release its unofficial depth chart “during” training camp.
