Packers Have All Nine Day 3 Draft Picks Signed

In this story:
GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Packers signed receiver Grant DuBose, one of their four seventh-round draft picks, on Monday.
With that, all nine of their Day 3 selections are under contract.
Especially with late-round picks, there’s almost nothing to negotiate because salaries are slotted. DuBose was scheduled to sign a four-year contract worth about $3.92 million with a signing bonus of $77,776, according to Spotrac.
“Just ready to get in there and work, become part of the culture, be able to see the city for what it is and go out there,” DuBose said after practice on Saturday. “Green Bay is an historical organization, to be able to go out there and play at Lambeau Field. I’m ready for everything that Green Bay has to offer.”
DuBose was the 256th of 259 selections in the draft. He “bet on myself” upon transferring from Division II Miles College and turned in two big-time seasons for Charlotte.
On Friday, the Packers signed fourth-round defensive tackle Colby Wooden, fifth-round quarterback Sean Clifford, fifth-round receiver Dontayvion Wicks, sixth-round defensive tackle Karl Brooks, sixth-round kicker Anders Carlson, seventh-round cornerback Carrington Valentine, seventh-round running back Lew Nichols and seventh-round safety Anthony Johnson.
Four draft picks remain unsigned: first-round outside linebacker Lukas Van Ness, second-round tight end Luke Musgrave, second-round receiver Jayden Reed and third-round tight end Tucker Kraft.
