Betting the Panthers: Week 6

Which Panthers bets make the most sense for their Week 6 tilt vs. the Dolphins?

Each week, I'll give a handful of prop bets or parlays pertaining to that week's Carolina Panthers game. I've already made my picks for the side and total for Carolina vs. Miami, which you can view below.

Here are this week's prop bets and parlays (odds via FanDuel):

Anytime touchdown scorer: WR Adam Thielen +210

The Panthers haven't found much success in the passing game but when they have, it's been the veteran Adam Thielen who has made the biggest impact. He may not have the top-end speed that some of the top receivers in the game possess but he has a knack for finding the soft spots in a defense, providing a reliable presence for a rookie quarterback. With Miles Sanders out coupled with an explosive Miami offense, I'm sure the Panthers will air it out quite a bit on Sunday. I like Thielen's odds to get a touchdown grab.

Bryce Young passing yards: Over 209.5

Young has increased his yardage in each of his first four starts and he'll have to top last week's 247-yard performance against the Lions for Carolina to have a chance in this one. Miami ranks 20th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game (237.4). As mentioned in the previous wager, Sanders' absence will play a factor in Carolina slinging it around.

Dolphins total points: Over 30.5

This Miami offense is going to be a chore for Carolina. The Panthers have struggled to stop the run game all year and that's problematic when facing an offense that averages 6.9 yards per rush. The run game will open up throwing lanes for Tua Tagovailoa, meaning it will be a long day for Ejiro Evero. I believe the Dolphins could push 40 in this game.
