Prop Bets: Panthers vs. Buccaneers

Which Panthers bets make the most sense for their Week 18 tilt vs. the Buccaneers?

Each week, I'll give a handful of prop bets or parlays pertaining to that week's Carolina Panthers game. I've already made my picks for the side and total for Carolina vs. Jacksonville, which you can view below.

Here are this week's prop bets and parlays (odds via FanDuel):

First half spread: Buccaneers -2.5

Carolina didn't score at all last week and two weeks ago they put up ten points in the first half. Typically, this offense takes a long time to get going and had a stretch of six games where they scored exactly three points through the first two quarters. If the Bucs score twice, which they should, this 2.5 should cover.

Panthers total points: Under 15.5

What the Panthers did against Green Bay two weeks ago was an anomaly. The last time these two met, Carolina had a lot of success running the football. However, Tampa had several defensive starters out for that one and they're mostly healthy for this one. Without a ground game, this offense is a mess. Take the under.

Anytime TD scorer: Bucs WR Mike Evans +105

Evans has had a lot of success against the Panthers over the years, including most recently where he has notched at least one touchdown in five of the last six meetings with Carolina. In two of those games, Evans found the end zone more than once.
