Spread & Over/Under Predictions for Panthers vs. Texans
Each week, we at All Panthers will release an article on our thoughts on the spread and the over/under of Carolina Panther games. The star ratings next to the play describe the overall confidence in that particular play.

Spread: Texans -2.5
4 Star play on the Panthers covering (+2.5): Things haven't gone well for the Panthers this season but maybe the bye week allowed the coaching staff to find some answers. If there's a spot on the schedule where Carolina has an opportunity to turn its season around, it starts with this three-game stretch that starts Sunday against the Texans. I know Houston has some impressive blowout wins on its resume but I'm going to roll the dice here and say the Panthers not only cover the short number but win the game outright.
Over/Under: 42.5
2 Star play on the over: The Panthers have allowed 42 points in each of their last two games. Although I don't see them doing that a third straight week, the defense has even more holes in it with Jeremy Chinn and Yetur Gross-Matos hitting injured reserve. All of the trends point to the under, but I just can't get there with it. Give me the over.
