Anthony Richardson Speaks at Florida Pro Day

Following his performance at Florida's Pro Day, quarterback Anthony Richardson sat down with NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Steve Smith Sr. to discuss his outing, the draft, and more.

Here's what he had to say.

Development since the start of last season

"I just been working. At times I was very inconsistent throughout the season. So I'm just trying to put that behind me and stay consistent because I know inconsistency is not going to work at the next level. So I've been just trying to perfect my craft and perfect who I am as a person. Coming out here showing what I'm able to do, I'm a natural thrower. So just being out there launching the ball, tossing it around with my brothers, it's just what we normally do."

What led to the inconsistency

"Living up to other people's expectations. I put a lot of pressure on myself because I want to be great. I want to be the best in the world. I'll never be perfect but I try to work towards perfection. If I'm not working towards that I get in my head a little bit or I used to. Now I started to realize I can't control everything. I can only focus on my job and what I'm able to do."

What it's like going through the pre-draft process

"Honestly, it's just been a blessing. I don't really care about the media and stuff. I'm just happy for my brothers that they get the media outlets as well. People come to see me but they also come to see them. But going through this process has definitely been a blessing for me. To realize and know that I'm close to that moment, it definitely does put a big smile on my face."

Being a top draft pick

"I'm just thankful for the opportunity. Lord knows what's going to happen on April 27th. I'm just ready to get there and live in the moment.
