Bryce Young Contract Details

A look at the numbers for the rookie QBs first NFL contract.

Finally, the Carolina Panthers and rookie quarterback Bryce Young have come to terms on a contract, the team announced Friday evening.

Terms of the deal include $37.9 million fully guaranteed along with a $24.6 million signing bonus that he will get in one lump sum upfront. It's not all that surprising that it's a fully guaranteed contract considering the Panthers gave up as much as they did to get up to No. 1 to draft Young. That alone shows the amount of trust the front office and the organization has as a whole that Young is the right choice and from that moment the trade went down, Young had all the leverage.

It's also no surprise that the deal happened to get done one day ahead of report day for rookies. Today, all rookies on the Panthers' roster will arrive at the campus of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC to get a few days to settle in before the rest of the team joins them on July 25th.
