Panthers Give Final Practice Squad Spot to a Wide Receiver
The Carolina Panthers still have two spots open on the 53-man roster, but they did finalize their practice squad on Tuesday by signing wide receiver Dezmon Patmon.
The 25-year-old receiver has some familiarity with head coach Frank Reich, having spent the first three years of his career in Indianapolis. Patmon was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft after recording 156 receptions for 1,976 yards and 13 touchdowns at Washington State.
He appeared in ten games with the Colts, reeling in four receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown. Patmon spent training camp with the Buffalo Bills.
