Carolina Panthers Pre-Draft Depth Chart: Offense

Projecting the Panthers' offense as it stands today.

We're less than one week away from the 2023 NFL Draft and the Carolina Panthers offense already looks vastly different. This side of the ball will see a new quarterback in the fold and maybe a couple of other pieces by next week.

But what does the depth chart look like as of today? Here would be my guess,

QB: Andy Dalton, Matt Corral, Jacob Eason

RB: Miles Sanders, Chuba Hubbard, Raheem Blackshear, Spencer Brown

FG: Giovanni Ricci

WR (X): Terrace Marshall Jr., Preston Williams

WR (SL): Adam Thielen, Shi Smith

WR (Z): DJ Chark, Laviska Shenault, Damiere Byrd

TE: Hayden Hurst, Ian Thomas, Tommy Tremble, Stephen Sullivan

LT: Ikem Ekwonu, Brady Christensen, Larnel Coleman

LG: Brady Christensen, Cade Mays, Deonte Brown

C: Bradley Bozeman, Sam Tecklenburg, Cade Mays

RG: Austin Corbett, Justin McCray

RT: Taylor Moton

Biggest strength: Offensive line. This is pretty much a no-brainer. This unit willed the Panthers to victory on a few occasions last year and was a big reason why they finished the year with seven wins instead of just three or four. I wouldn't be shocked to see Fitterer add some competition at guard for Christensen but not within the first two rounds. They'll use that second-round pick on a receiver, edge, or linebacker.

Biggest weakness: Quarterback is the obvious answer but this will be fixed with the first pick in the draft. Aside from that, I would say Carolina needs to add another receiver of some sort. Whether it's a big, physical guy that can be a potential go-to target or someone that can stretch the field, help is needed. Terrace Marshall has the potential of being an eventual No. 1 receiver, but he's been too inconsistent throughout the first two years of his career to believe that he'll figure it all out in year three.
