David Tepper Releases Statement on Reich's Firing

A few words from the team owner.
In this story:

The Carolina Panthers fired head coach Frank Reich Monday morning, following a 1-10 start to the season that absolutely no one saw coming.

Reich built this all-star coaching staff that everyone around the league applauded and felt like would be the perfect set up for rookie quarterback Bryce Young to succeed in. Unfortunately, Young and the Panthers' offense failed to show any signs of progress and in some respects regressed as the season moved along.

Shortly after the news broke, team owner David Tepper released a statement.

"I met with Coach Reich this morning and informed him that he will not continue as head coach of the Carolina Panthers. I want to thank Frank for his dedication and service, and we wish him well. Effective immediately, Special Teams Coordinator Chris Tabor will serve as our interim head coach. Senior Assistant Jim Caldwell will be a special advisor to Offensive Coordinator Thomas Brown, who will take over play calling duties."
