DJ Moore Reacts to Being Traded by Panthers
Stunned.
That's one word that can sum up everyone's feelings surrounding Friday's blockbuster trade between the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears, including former Panthers receiver DJ Moore.
Carolina agreed to sent the 9th and 61st overall picks in this year's draft, a first and second round pick in 2024 and Moore in the deal to Chicago, netting them the first overall pick in 2023.
Moore just agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Panthers last spring worth $61.9 million, so everyone assumed that whichever quarterback they took in next month's draft would already have a No. 1 receiver to throw to. Now, that's not the case.
In five seasons with the Panthers, Moore totaled 364 receptions for 5,201 yards, and 21 touchdowns.
