Former Panther Robbie Chosen Gets Released

The veteran wideout is looking for another opportunity.
In this story:

Robbie Chosen, formally known as Chosen Anderson, Robbie Anderson, and Robby Anderson, was released by the Miami Dolphins on Thursday.

He appeared in just four games this season but was targeted only twice in 87 offensive snaps. One of those targets he hauled in for a 68-yard touchdown, his lone catch of the season coming in the 70-20 blowout win over the Denver Broncos.

Chosen had a strong start to his NFL career spending the first four years with the New York Jets, but he really burst onto the scene in 2020 during his first season with the Carolina Panthers. That year, he led the team with 95 receptions and was second in receiving yards (1,096) behind only DJ Moore.

The following August, Chosen and the Panthers agreed on a two-year, $29.5 million deal which ended up being a really bad deal for Carolina. In 2021, he saw his production cut in half and after a sluggish start in 2022 he was dealt to the Arizona Cardinals for a late round draft pick.

Since the trade to Arizona, Chosen has caught just eight passes in 14 games over the last season and a half.
