New Uniforms Coming for the Carolina Panthers?

It is time for a new look...
In this story:

The Carolina Panthers have had a pretty consistent look since their inaugural season in 1995. The uniforms have always had block numbers with a stripe on the shoulder and different variations of a stripe down the side of the pants to go along with a silver helmet.

Sure, there have been some subtle changes over the years, but nothing too crazy. With the start of a new era set to begin in 2023 with Frank Reich as head coach, this could be a good time to hit the reset button and change things up a bit with the team's look on the field. I mean, why not? They've already made some massive changes to the roster and coaching staff, so why not roll out a fresh new look?

Fans on social media are beginning to wonder if this is actually about to go down. If you go on NFLshop.com, the Panthers and Cardinals are the only two teams that have player jerseys set at a discounted rate.

Why would that be the case? Well, new uniforms could be on the way. And if we're being completely honest here, the Panthers and Cardinals are certainly due for a new look.

I'm not saying Carolina needs to go full rebrand with a new logo and do some weird gradient black to blue jersey, but a few tweaks couldn't hurt. It would be one thing if the franchise had won multiple Super Bowls already and wanted to keep its classic look like others around the league such as Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Dallas, and San Francisco have. But the Panthers are still a relatively young franchise that is still on the hunt for that first Lombardi Trophy.

Don't forget, before D.J. Moore was traded he did send out a tweet that hinted at a possible new helmet.
