NFL Score Predictions for Divisional Weekend

Predicting every matchup in the NFL this week.

Every week, I'll release a prediction for every game in the NFL. Here's how I see things going down in the divisional round of the playoffs.

WILD CARD PICKS: 3-3.

SEASON PICKS: 172-103.

Texans at Ravens

Rookie QB C.J. Stroud and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik continues to impress, but the incredible year for Houston ends here on the road in Baltimore. The Texans can't run the ball and against this elite defensive front, they stand no chance having to solely rely on Stroud's arm.

Prediction: Ravens 21, Texans 17.

Packers at 49ers

I really, really want to go with Green Bay but I'm not going to let recency bias set in. I'll admit, I was dead wrong on Jordan Love. That being said, it's not his or this team's time to shine. They run into a buzzsaw this week out in the bay. Niners control this one from the second quarter on.

Prediction: 49ers 31, Packers 17.

Buccaneers at Lions

Tampa's win over Philadelphia was impressive on the scoreboard, but that's it. The Eagles were a mess coming into that game, so I'm not putting a ton of stock into it. Detroit is the better football team, top to bottom on both sides of the football. Detroit gets to celebrate another playoff win.

Prediction: Lions 26, Buccaneers 20.

Chiefs at Bills

It won't be nearly as cold or snowy on Sunday as it was this past week for the Bills' wild card game versus the Steelers. However, this will mark the first time in Patrick Mahomes' career that he will play a playoff game on the road - a tough, rowdy, cold environment for your first one is a a lot to overcome. Plus, I really think this Bills team is destined to get to the Super Bowl.

Prediction: Bills 23, Chiefs 20.
