Players receiving a gambling training

"I think the feedback has been good. Everyone knows the issue and how important it is. The NFL was in here to do that full presentation and did a great job with it. Things have been so busy I haven't followed up with too many players one-on-one but I know the NFL did a great job with it."

What boxes Bryce Young hasn't checked

"We don't have pads on. We're not competing at the highest level. That's not just Bryce, that's our whole team. You get to OTAs and it's great. You get a good look at people but you really don't know until you put the pads on."

Plans for the next month and a half

"I'm looking forward to the break. I always take a little bit with me. I have two or three projects that you want to do and get accomplished, so keep it kind of light and use the advantage of the break. But really get a chance to get cut ups of everything that we've done so to go back and methodically go through those at my own pace, making notes and really preparing. We come in and install systems and all the coaches, we're using all the tape from our previous teams so now we get stuff so we can make teach tapes from what we do here."

If they want Bryce Young to add weight ahead of the season

"We ask every player to improve himself physically. I don't want to make a bigger deal about that with Bryce just because of his size. That's a challenge to every player. How can you get better physically? It's a physical game. It's the best of the best, there are no exceptions to that. Every position, you have to challenge yourself to make your body stronger and faster."

Good vibes around the organization

"I'm excited that there's a lot of positive energy. I feel it in the building. I feel it on the field with the players. I feel it in the community with our fans. And I feel like our players feel that as well. Having been this game a while, I think you take the mode of we want to prove it every day. Yes, are we excited? Yes, do we have high expectations? We sure do. But I've learned through the years don't get too far out in front of those expectations."

What the process has been like for DL John Penisini getting back into football shape

"He's worked hard. He just got a little tweak the other day, so still waiting to hear the full report on that tomorrow. But love him. Just think he can add a lot to our team but we've got to kind of see where he's at with his injury and getting back into it but excited about it."
