Score Predictions for Panthers vs. Buccaneers
Schuyler Callihan: Buccaneers 23, Panthers 10.
It's hard for me to see the Panthers bouncing back from a shutout and putting up enough points to play spoiler and knock off the Buccaneers. The defense will, as always, keep them in the game until they get fatigued. It's a tied game at the half, but the Bucs pull away in the third and cruise to a division title.
Matt Welch: Buccaneers 24, Panthers 10.
If Baker Mayfield enjoys one thing, it’s revenge. His time in Carolina was certainly marred with enough troubles to plant a seed of revenge. While he was able to get one win earlier this season against the Panthers, he’ll be looking for a sweep. Carolina, meanwhile, is coming off one of the worst games of the season, offensively. While Bryce Young seemed to be getting into a rhythm, it was certainly shaken loose last week. With a battered receiving corps that has yet to live up to modest expectations, it’ll be another long week for Carolina, giving way to an offseason of doubt.
Ian Black: Buccaneers 26, Panthers 6
The last entry into the 2023 season for the Panthers comes with a bittersweetness. On one hand, this season has been long and difficult to watch at many points. On the bright side, the season will be over, and the future can only bring improvement. The Bucs have a division title on the line, and I expected them to take care of business and extend their season further.
