It's time. It's time for the Panthers to get one on the board. This team is going to win a few games this year and this sets up as the best opportunity they've had to date. Yes, Houston has played well but they're playing above expectations right now and are a young team that is likely overlooking the Panthers. Carolina had a chance to get healthy and fix some things in the bye week, so give me the Panthers in a tight one.
Desmond Johnson: Panthers 24, Texans 17
I think the Panthers defense will have extra motivation on Sunday to make C.J. Stroud look bad on the road vs Bryce Young. Plus the Panthers are finally starting to get some injured players back. I expect OC Thomas Brown to call a very run heavy offensive attack and the Panthers pull away late with a score.
Matt Alquiza: Panthers 26, Texans 23
The winless streak ends on Sunday. Houston is a good football team, but Carolina will surprise them off the bye. Rookie QBs often take a leap after their bye and with Thomas Brown in his headset, Bryce Young will have his best game as a pro.
