What Dennis Allen Said About the Carolina Panthers

New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen previews the game against the Carolina Panthers.

If the Panthers look any different from the first matchup

"I see a lot of similarities to the team that we saw earlier in the year. Last week was the first week that we had an opportunity to watch them play since the coaching change and yet, I'd say there's still a lot of similarities. Look, it's hard to change everything in the middle of a season. They've gotten a lot of defensive players that are out there playing for them now and they've been one of the better defenses in our league."

If he's seen any progress from Panthers QB Bryce Young

"I see a lot of good things out of him. I think he goes through his progressions pretty well. I think he does a good job in terms of avoiding the rush in the pocket, he's got some mobility to him. And last week, they made a little bit more of a concerted effort to get him outside the pocket on some boots and things of that nature to give him a little bit more of a run-pass option."

If this is a must-win game

"Yeah look, we need a win. There's no question about that. We need to go out and play good football and win a game. We're going to work extremely hard to get it figured out and get the win. We're going to keep chopping wood and eventually we're going to bust through this thing. But yeah, we need to win."
