Bobby Slowik Virtually Interviews for Panthers Head Coaching Job
The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday evening that they have completed a virtual interview with Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik for the head coaching position.
Slowik has received interest from Atlanta, Seattle, Tennessee, and Washington in addition to Carolina.
Under Slowik's watch, the Texans ranked 12th in total offense (342.4 ypg), seventh in passing (245.5 ypg), 22nd in rushing (96.9 ypg), and 13th in scoring (22.2 ppg).
Panthers interim head coach Chris Tabor, Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith, Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, and Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan have also interviewed for the job.
In-person interviews can begin Monday, January 22nd.
