Derrick Brown Added to the 2024 Pro Bowl Roster

Very deserving honor for one of the game's best defensive linemen.
In this story:

Friday morning, Carolina Panthers defensive lineman Derrick Brown was added to the 2024 Pro Bowl roster, replacing Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams.

Brown finished the season with 103 tackles, 15 QB hits, seven tackles for loss, six passes defended, two sacks, and an interception. The 103 tackles breaks the NFL record for most tackles by a defensive lineman, which was previously held by Christian Wilkins of the Miami Dolphins. According to Panthers.com, Brown shattered Mike Rucker's franchise record of 67.

"He's been so disruptive. I don't think it's arguably—I think he's been the best run defender in the NFL this year," defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero said of Derrick Brown. "He's done a heck of a job rushing the quarterback, and creating pressures, the interception, the batted balls. There's been so much production. The leadership. He's been instrumental in everything that we've done."

The Pro Bowl Skills Showdown will take place on Thursday, February 1st at 7 p.m. EST with the flag football game to follow on Sunday, February 4th at 3 p.m. EST.
