Gameday Open Thread: Panthers vs. Patriots

Join this open thread for all questions, concerns and conversation about the Panthers' preseason matchup against the Patriots.

The Carolina Panthers will head to New England to play their third preseason matchup.

Carolina will start Cam Newton, Christian McCaffrey, Luke Kuechly and the rest of the starters. Newton is expected to play three or four series in the game, and this will be a test to see where he's at. The Panthers' backup quarterback battle hasn't been as competitive as expected -- so this matchup will be very telling.
