Jaycee Horn Placed on Injured Reserve
The Carolina Panthers have officially placed cornerback Jaycee Horn on injured reserve, knocking him out of action for at least the next four games.
By his return, Horn will have played in just 17 of the possible 39 regular season games the Panthers have played since he entered the league in 2021. When it comes to replacing the production of the former first-round pick, they will likely turn to CJ Henderson, who could split time with Troy Hill and the recently signed, Sam Webb.
"It's just one of those freak things," head coach Frank Reich stated. "You just never know. And he knew right away. Like, I could tell as soon as I got out there he kind of felt it pop. So he kind of knew right from the start that it probably wasn't going to be good."
