Ole Miss RB Zach Evans is Visiting the Panthers

Carolina looking at another option at running back.
In this story:

The Carolina Panthers added Miles Sanders to the running back room in free agency but they may not be done adding to the group this offseason.

According to Josh Norris of Underdog Fantasy, the Panthers are hosting Ole Miss running back Zach Evans on a pre-draft visit. Evans spent the first two years of his collegiate career at TCU before transferring to Ole Miss this past season. In his lone season as a Rebel, Evans totaled 936 yards and nine touchdowns on 144 carries, nearly equaling his two-year output at TCU of 1,063 yards and nine touchdowns on 146 carries.

Quick scout from our friends at the NFL Draft Bible:

Taller back with a limber frame. Plays above his size, issuing punishment on every carry. Pad level and power shine, allocating tough yardage. Burst and lower body strength rupture him through arm tackles on way to the second level. Displaces should-be tacklers with a forceful stiff arm and distinguished contact balance. Uses quick feet and reaction acuity to hit the right gap at the right time. Vision is sharp, using acute angles to get upfield. Expert in ball security, with awareness of incoming punches. Multiple long gains, addressing any questions about a second gear.
