Panthers Announce Seating Plans, Options for PSL Owners

Bank of America Stadium will not be at full capacity this season

With the 2020 NFL season just around the corner, folks around the country are beginning to wonder whether or not they will be able to attend games in person or if they will be forced to watch them in the comfort of their own homes due to the pandemic.

In a release sent out by the Panthers, PSL Owners were notified that there will be reduced seating this season at Bank of America stadium and that safety measures will be set in place such as the requirement of face coverings, social distancing, and cashless transactions, along with several other unspecified plans.

"In order to accommodate as many PSL Owners as possible in this reduced-capacity scenario, we plan to make a limited number of home games available to each account," the email states. "The number of games each PSL Owner will have access to will be determined by factors such as approved capacity, overall demand and, in some cases, seating location."

PSL Owners will have the ability to opt out of using their tickets for the 2020 season without penalty. In the event that a PSL Owner elects to opt out, they will be afforded the choice of being fully refunded or using the credit to purchase tickets for games in 2021. Withdrawing will not affect PSL Ownership.

Should PSL Owners decide to still attend games this fall, they will be required to select which games they would like to attend and that they may be sitting in a different seat and/or section to adhere to the social distancing guidelines. The release also states that season tickets will revert back to current PSL seat locations for the 2021 season.
