Hello again, old friend.

Tuesday evening, the Carolina Panthers agreed to a one-year deal with veteran wide receiver David Moore. Yes, the same David Moore that signed with the Panthers back in 2021 but failed to make the 53-man roster coming out of training camp.

Moore spent four years in Seattle with Dave Canales where he averaged 26 receptions for 387.6 yards and 4.3 touchdowns and then this past year, the two reunited in Tampa Bay. In a limited role, Moore caught five passes for 94 yards and a touchdown in seven games with the Bucs.

This isn't the flashiest of moves the Panthers have made this offseason, but it does give the room a little more experience at receiver and helps out the back end of the depth chart. His familiarity with Canales and offensive coordinator Brad Idzik will allow him to help teach the offensive scheme to others in the room and be there to answer questions along with being another option for Bryce Young in the slot.
