Report: Samir Suleiman No Longer with Panthers
Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper awarded the general manager position to Dan Morgan on Monday and one day later, we have some more news regarding the structure of the organization's front office.
According to David Newton of ESPN, Director of player negotiations and salary cap manager Samir Suleiman is no longer with the team. He did interview for the GM opening along with several others.
Suleiman came to Carolina in January of 2020 from the Pittsburgh Steelers, filling the role of Director of Player Negotiations and Salary Cap Manager. After two years on the job, Suleiman was promoted to Vice President of Football Administration, expanding his role in the budgeting and finance function of the football operation.
The team will look to replace Suleiman, likely so with one of the candidates that they have interviewed for the GM spot.
